Mr.Thomas Shen

Joint TE Connectivity in 1994, Thomas Shen is now the Vice President & General Manager of TE China automotive responsible for the automotive business in China market. During the past 19 years, Mr. Shen led and grew China Automotive division from a team of 2 people and 2 million USD sales to a team with 2500 employees, 2 manufacturing plants, 350 engineers, 10 sales offices who jointly generate several hundreds of million USD sales annually. His contribution was highly recognized by TE Corporation In 2007, Mr. Shen was nominated “The Best Customer Advantage Award” and again, in 2011, he and his management team got “The Best Business Team Award”.

Mr. Shen, was appointed as Vice President & General Manager of TE China Automotive in Oct. 2010. In this role, he is responsible for operation, sales and marketing, purchasing, finance, human resource to ensure the best collaboration. Before this, Mr. Shen has 18 years’ solid working experience in sales and marketing in TE China automotive. Mr. Shen graduated from Xi’an Jiatong University with electrical engineering BA degree and holds EMBA degree from CEIBS.

Contactless measuring effectively eliminates interference effects, ware and tear, and provides increased reliability in automotive application. As a specialist for contactless sensors (Position, Travel, Angle, Speed, Temperature etc.), TE Connectivity offers innovative technologies and production solutions for automotive applications. This presentation will introduce the sensor solution and platform product application within DCT, Start/Stop system, EGR, Turbo Charge and Motor Resolver from TE Connectivity, our design, validation, manufacturing capabilities, and the forecast of the contactless sensor application in Automotive.
